Just wanted to pop in and wish you well on your new journey. There's all kinds of things people will tell you on how to deal with it all, but there is nothing in civilian life that can or does prepare you for this transition. The military is a world unto itself. It is it's own society and culture and it has it's own rules, and not just the ones written in the JAG books.
The one and only thing someone told me was, " Keep your eyes open, your mouth shut, listen carefully, and do exactly as they say." You get to think about it later and comment.
